Va
anuntam ca Tabara Ortodoxa
pentru Tineri din anul acesta, se va desfasura in perioada 21-27 August,
avand o noua locatie: Canyon View Camp, situata la 3 mile Sud de
localitatea Silverton (45 de mile SE de Portland OR)
Este
o oportunitate unica pentru fiecare tanar sa se apropie de Dumnezeu, de
Biserica Ortodoxa, precum si de traditiile si cultura romaneasca
. Va invitam sa le daruiti copiilor acest cadou unic de a lega noi
prietenii si de a fi binecuvantati de Dumnezeu prin intermediul taberei.
Va rugam completati formele de mai jos si trimiteti-le la Oficiul Parohiei noastre.
Aceasta tabara se adreseaza atat
copiilor , cat si adolescentilor pana la 20 de ani. Vor fi impartiti in
grupuri corespunzatoare.
Costul pentru un participant este de $ 190 pentru 1 copil; 170 pentru 2 copii din aceasi familie si 150 pentru 3 sau mai multi copiii din aceasi familie.. Adultii care voluntariaza pe toata durata taberei nu platesc.

YOUTH CAMP 2011
We are looking to offer to the
campers, 6 days of recreation and happiness in a natural setting,
teaching them the Orthodox Christian Faith, the Romanian traditions and
culture, and strengthening the friendship among them.
The Orthodox Youth Camp 2011 will
take place at Canyon View Camp which is located three miles south of
Silverton in the foothills of Oregon's Cascade Mountains 45 miles South
East of Portland, OR. It is the ideal location for our camp, offering 3
daily meals for us, classrooms for educational purposes, a large
basketball indoor court, outside volleyball field, a game room,
beautiful and comfortable cabins, swimming place, as well as beautiful
natural surroundings.

Directions: From
I-205, take the 213 route exit (#10 Park Place, Molalla) and follow the
highway straight into Silverton. 213 becomes Oak St. Go to the 2nd
stop sign. Turn left at the Palace Theater. Go 1 block. Turn right in
Main St. Go 3 miles out of town. Turn left into Finlay Rd. Go ¾ miles.
The entrance is in the right.
Who
may attend? All the children and
teenagers are welcome, starting from 6 years old, up to 20 years old
(they will be separated according the their age levels)
Camp
Fees: $ 190.00 per child; $ 170.00 for
2 children from the same family; $ 150.00 for 3 or more children from
the same family.
This
price includes everything needed for the camp: food & board,
educational materials and other expenses. We are offering financial

For
special situations If your child
doesn’t want to be left alone over night, or if he/she needs you
around for the duration of the camp, you can visit him/her anytime
during the camp. Another alternative is to bring him/her in the morning
and pick him/her up in the evening. For every person who will be on the
ground for a longer period of time, we need to pay the cost of food and
board.

“Copiii
odihnesc si refac omul. Chiar ei sunt o refacere a omului. Ei rezuma:
gingasie si frumusete,
puritate, nevinovatie si credinta. Chiar pe Iisus L-au odihnit copiii.
Mantuitorul Insusi a spus: “Lasati copiii sa vina la Mine si nu-I
opriti. Ca a unora ca acestora este imparatia cerurilor.”
Copiii
ajung in bratele lui Dumnezeu, fiindca ei sunt cei mai aproape de El;
modul lor de a fi este cel mai iubit de Dumnezeu. Inteleptii Il inteleg
pe Dumnezeu ca pe o necessitate in explicarea lumii. Copiii Il au ca pe
un Tata de pe celalalt tarm. Iata de ce copiii sunt in adevar, pe cand
inteleptii in afara lui. Gasesti ceva si cu mintea inteleptilor, numai
daca ai o inima curate de copil. Aceasta te duce de-a dreptul in bratele
Adevarului. In ochii copiilor, seninatatea e de culoarea
cerului. Dumnezeu este mai real in Imparatia copiilor, decat intr-un
tratat de mecanica cereasca. Dumnezeu si copiii au inrudirea pe care noi,
cei mari, o pierdem. Sfintii sunt niste mari copii; ce departe ne tinem
de ei!”
